About Paulding Networking

We are a quality-oriented, full service computer repair company that assists both home and business computer users with networking, software issues, virus issues, laptop repairs, desktop computer repairs, and a variety of other specialized services, such as data recovery, custom computer building and DC power jack repairs.

Position Details

Computer repair technicians coordinate with customers to diagnose computer systems and networks, make recommendations for repair, and perform the requested repairs in a timely and accurate fashion. Technicians will follow Paulding Networking’s guidelines for repair and quality standards.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has a genuine interest in computers and enjoys helping others understand complex or unfamiliar topics.

Any candidates considered for this position will need the following:

  • Outstanding written and spoken communication skills
  • A basic understanding of the components of a computer
  • Some experience, personal or professional, with the assembly or building of a personal computer
  • Will be required to pass a background check and other similar requirements

Experience with soldering, welding, woodwork, electrical work, or wiring are all helpful and we ask that you please include or list any experience with these topics on your submitted resume.

Do not handle any liquids that you normally wouldn’t touch while trying to save a laptop.) If a large amount of water has been spilled, there is a risk of shock. Be careful!

Finally, make sure it was just water. If anything else was in the water, such as salts (flavorings) or sugars (drink mixes), you will want to be sure of it. How a spill is handled from here is dependent on the contents of the liquid. Often, if handled quickly and appropriately, a water spill can dry itself with limited or no damage to the computer’s components.

There’s not much cause for alarm- these new versions mostly add new features that don’t affect the detection rate of the software, or contain new code that helps the program scan your files faster. Follow the steps below to get your anti-virus system updated.

Step 1: How to check:

Double click the ESET NOD32 Icon in the bottom-right of your screen. This should launch the program.

After it has launched, click Help in the top right corner. When the menu appears, click “About”. Your version information will appear. You’re looking for a major version number, such as 3.0, or 4.0. As of this writing, the newest version is 4.0.

Step 2: How to update:

If your version does not match up with the newest version of ESET NOD32, it’s time to upgrade. Get together your license details (Your programs username and password, usually e-mailed to you if you registered the software yourself, or included with your purchase on a CD case or ESET License form).
Head to www.eset.com and go straight to their Downloads section, Username and Password in hand. Find the newest version of your anti-virus, and download it from ESET’s site. This is when the Username and Password come in handy, as it will be at this point that you will want to type your username and password in to download the newest version.
After the download completes, run the software. Currently, you do not need to remove your old ESET program to install the new version. When prompted, tell ESET to keep your previous settings- this will bring your old Username, Password, and Daily Scan settings from your previous installation. After the installation finishes, you will most likely be prompted to restart.
Rest easy knowing you have the newest version of your security software!
